Having gotten into the Pickleball game a little late, I was excited to jump in with my friends and purchased an inexpensive set from Amazon. After thoroughly enjoying myself playing I felt it necessary to up my equipment.
The Stage 1 paddle from Mercer Pickleball has a distinct, noticeable difference in feel from the cheaper paddles I originally bought. It feels lightweight but not flimsy, and heavy enough to make your swing with confidence.
The biggest difference I noticed was the comfort of the handle. The wrapping style was neat and soft, providing good grip even with sweaty palms.
If you’re looking to step up your game and want a fantastic paddle that doesn’t break the bank, this is the one!

A friend of mine gave me a Mercer paddle to try. I have played with a luxx for a while. This paddle is amazing for the control and it has a nice weight to it. If you like a pop it has it.
I went ahead and bought the cloud. I have taken it to tournaments. People have asked me to let them try it. I have had several people love it and have purchased.
My son is disabled and he plays with mine as well. It’s easy for him and he hits the ball well. A good sweet spot.
I work at parks and rec and recommend to several of our patrons.

This paddle is a solid "all court" paddle IMO. Soft touch but provides decent power when needed. Built very well.
I have played with several different manufacturer’s paddles. This paddle (Kevlar) by far out performed the other paddles when it comes to maximizing spin! Whether it is top spin, back spin or slice! I genuinely get more movement using this paddle with less effort. As for power, I have hit with paddles that hit as hard but the others seem to relinquish some control. This paddle seemed to maintain control when occasionally missing the sweet spot. As for durability, I can’t say much about that because I haven’t used it long enough yet.
Overall the Kevlar paddle gets an A.
I played with a dozen brands from fiberglass to carbon fiber, since I start playing with the Pro Force Elite, I felt very confidence every shot I made , easy to control where you want to put the ball to made a point. I also played with the Cloud that was something else, easy to maneuver and large sweet spot will help you to drive to ball to the target...... I loved it and the price is very competitive...Every one needs to check it out...
Proforce Elite...gave this baby a whirl around the court - she has some serious "pop" ! A ton of power with little effort and soft on the dinks as needed - all with a the right amount of control.
Has a ton of control, balls stay in a lot more. Best feeling grip I’ve tried. Sound is dampened which is also nice

I really enjoy this paddle. I’ve played with lots of other paddles. Most recently the Body Helix original, Ace Spade and Club, Electrum Elite and SixZero Black Diamond. This paddle has incredible spin potential and can really absorb heavy hits and resets very well. I’m only a 4.0 player. It definitely does not have as much power as the electrum elite and sixzero but it definitely makes up for that with control! I’m finally able to actually put the ball where I want it to go now. 🤣
This ProForce Elite paddle is extremely attractive, and it plays like a Selkirk Luxx Invicta paddle with a much lower price tag.

It's a bargain at $143. I can control the ball very easily with this lightweight paddle. The Kevlar material offers exceptional spin and a mix between supreme softness and superpower. I like it better than my Selkirk paddle.

I had a chance to try this paddle out recently playing several hours. The feel, touch and power of this paddle is amazing. My dink shots were soft but firm , my lob shots had great touch and the power of my returns was effortless. The ball pops off the paddle and you do not feel any vibration in the handle when making power shots . Very strong but light , able to get the paddle into position for returns easily . Ok this paddle is beautiful!! And it's also the first paddle I've ever used with a vented feature. I've started seeing this hole/vent on other paddles and from what I gather it increases the speed of your hits. It definitely played differently than I was used to. I can tell that there is more power behind my hits and that the ball is flying much faster. It took me some time to adjusting but now I'm using this to my advantage. I'm making my opponents move around a lot more. It's my secret weapon on the courts shhh
I took a risk not knowing much about the Mercer brand. I wanted to try something different and found their kevlar paddle. This paddle has great, spin, control, and a large sweet spot. Overall, it is consistent. It even plays quiet; the Kevlar material must absorb the sound of the hits. It feels and plays like a premium paddle.
